شادکامی نه از برون Happiness cannot                                        

come from without نه از درون فرا می روید                                    

it must come                     شادکامی آن نیست که می بینیم و              

from within                                  لمس می کنیم

It is not what we                                 و یا چیزی که دیگران برایمان

see and touch or                        انجام می دهند

that which others و شادمانمان می سازد                                        

do for us شادکامی آنست که ما                                                       

which makes us happy; می اندیشیم حس می کنیم  و                       

it is that which we انجام می دهیم                      

think and feel and do ,                            نفست برای دیگر همنوعان

first for the other fellow و سپس برای خود .                            

and then for ourselves.
